Distinction Scholarship

The European Forum offers scholarships to outstanding students in its study programs – European Studies and Contemporary German Studies.

The call for applications is sent exclusively to our candidates and students each year during the summer vacation.

The scholarship is granted based on academic achievements, a personal motivation letter, and a reference letter from a professor who taught the applicant in her/his previous studies.

 

Yes! You can receive the European Forum Distinction Scholarship in addition to the tuition fee scholarship.

 

The scholarship recipients are obligated to:

  • Participate in the European Forum's events: conferences, colloquium meetings, guest lectures, meetings with donors, etc;
  • 1st-year students: Take at least 50% of the credit points required for graduation – 19 credits (not including German language beginners' courses. Students of the Program in Contemporary Germany Studies who have to take German beginners' courses, will need to register for at least 23 credits to receive the scholarship);
  • 2nd-year students: Register for the remaining credit points required for graduation;
  • Attend all classes and submit assignments on time.
