On September 5, 2023, a workshop was held in collaboration with the Institute for Eastern European History at the University of Vienna led by Prof. Maria Wakounig.

The purpose of the workshop was to examine innovations in the study of mobility in time and space of tourists in European cities as well as to examine methodological innovations in the field.

In addition, the workshop participants recently worked together in a project on behalf of the Italian Erasmus agency in order to establish a European research group for the analysis of tourism data.
