Subsidy for participation in study excursions

Our study programs offer courses that are study excursions in Europe, which last between one and two weeks. It is usually required to take a prerequisite course before going on an excursion.

The European Forum subsidizes most of the cost of participating in the excursions. The cost for participating students: up to 600 euros.

Most excursions are open to MA and 3rd-year BA students from other departments. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that their department will acknowledge the credit points earned from the excursion and the prerequisite course.

Past excursions for example:

  • Study Excursion to the EU Institutions (prerequisite: course 54800  Introduction to the European Union: A Unique Supranational Beast)
  • New Challenges for Liberalism in the Old Continent (prerequisite: course 54836  Europe from the In- and the Outside – What you see from here, you don´t see from there)
