The DAAD Center for German Studies at the European Forum at the Hebrew University awards fellowships for visiting Master and/or PhD students.
Visiting students will be invited to spend a five-month term at the Center for German Studies at the European Forum at the Hebrew University. Students will attend the “Contemporary Germany: Politics, Society and Culture” program taught in English. The DAAD Center for German Studies will cover the students’ tuition, accommodation in the university dormitories, travel expenses to Israel and back and health insurance.
Candidates for the fellowship must be enrolled in one of the Master or PhD programs offered by and/or affiliated with a DAAD Center for German and European Studies and should not be older than 30 years.
The application should contain the following documents:
- application form
- a concise motivation letter in English (max. 2 pages, double spaced, A4)
- a curriculum vitae
- two references (one of them by the students DAAD Center Director and by a scholar familiar with the applicant’s studies)
